The Problem

Parent’s/guardians:
Can’t help or monitor their children at home without LMs

Teachers:
Difficulty in reaching out the students for continuous instruction.

Learners:
Lack of ready-to-use LMs at home.

The Context

Our learners come from diverse backgrounds, each brings unique perspectives, prior knowledge, and experiences to the classroom. This diversity includes variations in socioeconomic status, health conditions, cultural heritage, and prior educational exposure.

Some learners are facing educational challenges such as limited access to learning resources, difficulty of learning due to certain conditions and external factors such as varying levels of family support, location and transportation from home to school.

Stakeholders Pain Points

LEARNERS

Limited or no access to learning materials to be utilize especially  during face-to-face class  suspension.

TEACHERS

Difficulty in reaching out the learners for continuous  instruction during  unanticipated F2F class  suspension

PARENTS

Cannot give full academic support to their children with  limited learning resources at home

 

BARANGAY OFFICIALS

No available learning resources  from the school to be shared to learners during emergencies.

 

The Solution

Provision of teacher pre-recorded video or instructional videos to learners.

Use of the following EdTech Apps to  compile all instructional videos for  easy access by the learners.

  1. Google drive
  2. LMS
  3. School Fb account
  4. You tube channel
  5. Plug & play OTG

Provision of module or activity sheets to learners with no gadgets to be compiled at home.

Challenges

Time:
Teachers don’t have luxury of time preparing educational videos to be aired.

Teachers:
Commitment of teachers to do the task

Parents:
Support from parents or guardian

Stakeholders:
Support from the stakeholders/ community

Needed Resources

Gadgets for video coverage. To be procured using MOOE, other local funds like canteen or sponsorship

Room for video coverage or recording. To be identified in the school

Reproduction of printed materials like module and activity sheets. To be procured through MOOE, use of recyclable or used bond papers.
