Need for a school digital repository.

Data management is crucial in making decisions specifically the development of programs, projects and activities for the school.

The innovation is specifically the creation of digital data repository of the school. This will serve as a storage of important data and information of the school.

It will also have the aim for the gathering and consolidation of data in the preparation of different reports submitted to the different DepEd governance. As it is in digital form, it will lead to less paper utilization.

It is also accessible to the school management and teachers.

LEARNERS

There are not  fully benefitted from the programs, project and activities because it is not based on reliable data of school.

TEACHERS

Development of programs, projects and activities is difficult because there are no data available

Difficulty accessing school data and information

PARENTS

There not given the clear and specific information about the school due of lack of data.

 

BARANGAY OFFICIALS

No data can be provided for them because the information is loosely among teachers.

Establish a school digital repository  in order to store and protect vital school information like academic performances , school profile, and other.

This school digital repository will also serve  as platform in submitting lesson plan for schoolyear 2024-2025 .

The common challenge in putting at the digital repository will be the provision of internet, since the school avails internet service, these would be enough for school.

One of the challenges is the migration of teachers from google workplace application to Microsoft 0365 application. There a need for training for teachers in using the Microsoft 0365.

For some teachers, to have an access for the Microsoft 0365, one should avail Microsoft account from the Division-ICT office.

Financial will be one of crucial resource especially on the training for teachers and for digital infrastructure for some equipment to be utilized the implementation of the digital repository.

Human resource specifically expert in the utilization of the different features of Microsoft 0365.  They are to train teachers in the use of Microsoft 0365.

The following are the different metric for the evaluation of data:

• Accuracy of the data
• Completeness of data
• Degree in the utilization of data
• Accessibility process

 The innovation project will be monitored every quarter of the school year 2042-2025.
